Well I am trying out this new blog service I found that supports Wordpress plugins. Unfortunately, I am looking for a specific plugin (WPtouch) which optimizes Wordpress blogs for viewing on the iPhone. If you are reading this post on an iPhone, check out this blog >> iwebkit. Reading the iwebkit blog on any other browser will show a regular Wordpress format, but on the iPhone it is optimized for that device’s slimmed down version of Safari.

Note: added rel=”lightbox” to image to create lightbox effect.

Today mom and dad (Froese) got possession of their condo in Abbotsford. It is hard to believe that they listed their home in Three Hills and sold it a day later. The family that bought their house wanted to move in at the beginning of September. Mom and dad had to move quick and get something here while the market is a little slow.
A bunch of us got to the condo today to help move boxes and furniture. Shannon made pizza for us all then we went to DQ after all the boxes were unloaded from the truck.
Here are the girls taking a little break.

Today while we were in the grocery store in Bellingham, we noticed an aisle of Russian foods. Having lived in Georgia for over a year and a half, we were curious to see if there were any familiar foods. Here is what we found.

I was looking for a new app for my iPhone, a pilot logbook app. Imagine my surprise when I ran across this forum post which said that there is an iPhone app for running Palm OS software on the iPhone! Wow, there are thousands of Palm apps and I would love to try them on my new iPhone.
StyleTap Platform: Update on StyleTap for iPhone
For now, the StyleTap app can only be run on an iPhone that has had the Jailbreak procedure run on it. I am not ready to take that plunge until InstallerApps has come out with a stable version of their software. But this is an interesting development and I will be watching the progress of the StyleTap team.

There are many things that the new iPhone does well but one of those things does NOT include managing the Contact list from the phone directly.
I sync my Contact app with gMail’s contacts. This was easy to set up but I was unable to place existing contacts into a group. Creating a new group is possible as is creating a new contact inside a group.
So in order to manage my contacts from Windows, I had to take the following steps.
1. Create a new MobileMe account. This is a free trial for the first 60 days.
2. Sync my contacts in MobileMe with my gMail account.
3. Open Windows address book and delete the one address that was present there.
4. Log out of MobileMe.
5. Start iTunes and change the sync options for Contacts to the Windows address book and Sync. When prompted, I had the iphone overwrite the address book on the computer.
It took me a couple of tries to make it work, but now I can create, edit and delete groups from Windows and it is reflected on the iPhone. Yeah!
Here is a screen shot I took of my iPhone after learning how to take screen shots.
